Slow but Steady Wins The Race .my proverbs

Tortoise is famous for slow walking and Rabbit for fast running .Once a competition of race between the two washeld .

They both started running to reach the finishing point .The Rabbit ran as fast as possible, but the tortoise was unable to run so fast .

So it continued walking to the finishing point.In the mean time the Rabbit reached far ahead of the tortoise, so it stopped beneath a tree and say behind but there was no any trace of the tortoise.The Rabbit was very happy and decided to take some rest in the shade of the tree .

When it laid there ,it atonce slept .After few minutes the tortoise silently walked ahead and after some time the finished the finishing point.

In the mean time when the Rabbit awoke from fast a sleep , is saw behind but still there was no trace of the tortoise ,so it is easily walked towords the finishings  point.When the Rabbit reached there ,it saw that the tortoise had already reachedthere so it became very ashamed.
so it is correct saying that ,Slow but steady wins the race..
